In the third week of April, the Evolve Africa Initiative was proud to support youth and women from the Barkin Ladi and Sabon Barki communities of Plateau State in registering for the Labour Employment and Empowerment Programme (LEEP), an initiative of the Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment.

The LEEP program, championed under the Renewed Hope Agenda, is aimed at equipping Nigerians with vocational and technical skills to improve employability, foster entrepreneurship, and promote sustainable livelihoods across the country. We worked closely with community members to ensure that as many eligible participants as possible were properly registered.

Many of the youth and women expressed excitement and hope about the training opportunities to come. We commend the Ministry of Labour and Employment for this timely intervention and remain committed to mobilizing and supporting grassroots participation in programs like this.
